What We Offer
We bring together nationally recognized experts and senior teachers who have accumulated thousands of hours in their respective fields of instruction to inspire and teach all seekers.
Beginning Teacher Training
Our program differentiates itself because we connect our
offering through the teachings of Ayurveda. The program is
offered currently as a hybrid with in-person and online training
weekends. It is 5 weekends plus weekly meetings
Advanced Teacher Training
This course requires a previous understanding of Ayurveda and a
200 hr certification. The Introduction to Ayurveda course on the
website can replace previous Ayurveda training but a 200 hr
certification is still required. This is for certification or
personal advancement. This is completely online.

Stories of our Graduates
New Mexico school of Yoga is committed to our students. Below you will find all of our graduates, both of our 200 hr teacher training and our 300 hr teacher trainings. Our graduates live all over the world, spreading the love of yoga and Ayurveda.
I think my biggest take-aways from the program are the many ways of taking care of myself.Incorporating this depth of Ayurveda into a yoga teacher training program is wonderful. Maria’s years of teaching both yoga and her vast knowledge of Ayurveda form the perfect balance in this program.
This program taught me so much about myself and really brought me to my love of Ayurveda more than I would’ve thought possible
I wanted to thank-you. I cannot fully express the impact this training has had on my life
I have 7.5 official teaching hours so far! I’ve been teaching friends on zoom. One hour long classes with mantra, pranayama, Namaskar, asana and meditation. Totally loving it and feeling so grateful.
Maria, your classes are still the best! Always love the connections you make in practice to what’s going on in the natural world and seasons of the year.
